During the first week of the school year, our Nursery and Kindergarten 1 students begin their journey with a gentle, half-day transition period alongside their parents.
Instead of jumping straight into academics, this special week is all about emotional adjustment. Each day, children slowly get to know their homeroom teachers and other staff members — a little at a time.
But what makes this week truly special is the presence of our primary students, who return to school not just as learners, but as mentors. These older children volunteer to be “big buddies,” helping our youngest students adjust and feel at home in their new environment.
