About Carroll Prep School
Carroll Prep School was founded by a group of passionate parents and educators determined to bring something new and innovative to Thai education. Our school is more than just an institution; it’s a community where students, teachers, and families come together to create a nurturing environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
Our Unique Curriculum
Our curriculum is a distinct blend of the Ontario Curriculum and the Thai Core Curriculum. This fusion ensures that students receive a comprehensive education that meets international standards while staying deeply rooted in Thai culture. Our educational foundation is further enriched by the extensive teaching experience of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll, who have been shaping young minds in Thailand since 2003.
The roots of Carroll Prep run deep. Sarah Carroll, the mother of Mr. George Carroll, originally founded the We Friend Child Care Center in America. Her legacy of nurturing young children with care and dedication is a core inspiration for our approach at Carroll Prep. We proudly carry forward her commitment to providing an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
The Carroll Method
At Carroll Prep, we follow The Carroll Method, a pragmatic and moderate approach to guided play-based learning in a collaborative, multilingual EFL environment. Our method emphasizes the use of local culture to address systemic problems while meeting international standards.

Carroll Prep founded by George and Panida Carroll. We are teacher, parents and educators. Inspired by Mrs. Sarah Carroll, George’s mother, who was operating childcare in the United State of America for 30 years.
Mrs. Sarah create Carroll teaching method which similar to Montessori , the method that focuses on creating environment that children can learn freely. Teachers observe and record development of children, give the children independence and allow them to learn what they are interested in.
Mr. George was grown up in his mother’s child care and learned all the technique early on from his mother.
Afterwards, Mr. George came to Thailand and he brought Carroll method, technique and his mother’s lesson plan with him.
He started his teaching career at one of the International school. He has an opportunity to practice and learn how to teach in the Reggio Emilia method which emphasize communication and expression and social behavior skill.
In 2005, Mr. George started his own learning center using **Carroll Method** that has been modified to Thai students. He create a fun learning space that help students based on what each individual need. He follows students interested and teach them all the skills they need to success and be a good contribute to the world.
We believe childhood should filled with joy and wonder. We used love to approach academics and our students learn from meaningful things around them. Our students love to learn and they like coming to school. That is the good foundation of a life long learning.
With more than 16 years experience, we met thousands of students from different schools. We learn a lot from our students and their education system. Once we have our own kids, we couldn’t find any school that match our vision so we made our own. We have many parents who feel the same way and co-founded with us. That’s how we become Carroll Prep.
We believe in our method and we hope we can impact and change how education approach in Thailand.
