Chess Battle CPS x SBS

Carroll Prep and Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University came together for an exhilarating Chess Battle on Friday, June 21. Organized with support from the Thai Chess Club Committee, the event was a celebration of strategy, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

Event Highlights:

  • Warm Welcome and School Tour: The event kicked off with Carroll Prep students warmly welcoming their counterparts from Satit Bilingual School. Students from Satit enjoyed exploring our school grounds, especially the thrilling big slider.

  • Principal’s Chess Match: The highlight of the event was a riveting chess match between our Principal and a teacher from Satit Bilingual School. What made it unique was that students were involved in moving the oversized chess pieces, adding to the excitement and atmosphere.

  • Student Chess Pairs: Following the principal’s match, students from both schools paired up into seven teams to engage in their own chess battles. The matches were intense and strategic, showcasing the skill and passion of the young chess players.

  • Winners and Equal Result: At the end of the matches, three teams emerged victorious, while one match ended in a draw. The competitive spirit and sportsmanship were evident throughout.

  • Fun and Friendship: The event concluded with students exchanging handshakes, symbolizing respect and friendship across schools. A group photo captured the memorable moments of the day, highlighting the unity and joy of the chess community.
