When do students start using tablets at Carroll Prep?
• Starting from K3 and up, students use tablets for specific learning activities, MAP Growth assessments, AI learning apps, and personal scheduling.
Will my child still write by hand?
• Yes!
First drafts, diaries, and most writing assignments are still completed on paper.
For longer stories or projects, tablets may be used to help students revise, reorganize, and present their work more effectively.
Is buying a tablet required?
• No.
If you prefer not to purchase a personal tablet, your child will be provided with a school tablet for any required activities.
Why are tablets used?
• Tablets support students by helping them:

Do I still need to pay the IT fee even if I don’t purchase a tablet?
