We don’t want Movie Night to be simply an activity where children come to watch a film or a drop-off activity after school. We want it to be a space where Carroll Prep families can meet, spend time together, and create shared memories.
That’s why we are transforming Movie Night into:
Carroll Family Picnic & Movie Night
Families are invited to bring food, drinks, snacks, pillows, cushions, or picnic mats and enjoy a picnic together under the Old Man Tree before the movie begins.
Schedule
🧺 4:45 PM — Families arrive and set up their picnic spots
🍱 5:00 PM — Family Picnic and time together
🎤 5:30 PM — Student representatives share the story behind the movie vote
🎬 5:45 PM — The movie begins
This month’s vote was extremely close between Zootopia 2 and Hoppers. We have therefore decided to screen Zootopia 2 first on August 4, while Hoppers will be shown at our next Family Picnic & Movie Night on September 8.

As this is a family event, we kindly ask a parent or caregiver to stay and enjoy the entire evening with the children.
