The Kid Report program is back!
This year, children aged 5–11 will step into the role of “Junior Reporters” — learning to communicate, ask great questions, gather information, and creatively report on environmental stories around them.
Over two fun-filled hours, participants will:
- Break the ice with team challenges and create their own DIY paper microphones
- Discover real-world environmental issues through short videos and guided discussions with guest reporters
- Learn the basics of news storytelling — Who / What / Where / When / How / Why
- Go on a short field assignment to gather observations at Carroll Prep and Bon Marché Market Park
- Present their news stories in The Green Newsroom — either live on camera or in a recorded clip
